These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Iki Spaces.

By booking a consultation, engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Iki Spaces

Iki Spaces provides home staging consultations, occupied home staging guidance, styling services, sourcing support and property preparation advice for homeowners, landlords and property investors.

Our services are designed to help clients prepare properties for sale or rent through strategic recommendations and practical guidance.

2. Consultations

A consultation provides professional recommendations based on the condition of the property at the time of the visit.

Recommendations may include:

  • Decluttering guidance

  • Depersonalisation advice

  • Furniture arrangement

  • Styling recommendations

  • Property preparation advice

  • Photography preparation guidance

  • Viewing preparation guidance

  • Suggestions regarding maintenance, cleaning or decoration

All recommendations are advisory in nature.

The client remains responsible for deciding which recommendations to implement.

3. No Guarantee of Sale, Rental or Property Value

While home staging can improve presentation and buyer perception, Iki Spaces does not guarantee:

  • A property will sell

  • A property will sell within a specific timeframe

  • A property will achieve a particular sale price

  • A property will rent within a specific timeframe

  • A property will achieve a particular rental value

Property sales and rentals depend on many factors beyond our control, including market conditions, pricing, location, competition and buyer demand.

4. Property Preparation Services

Iki Spaces may provide recommendations regarding:

  • Decluttering

  • Cleaning

  • Repairs

  • Painting

  • Styling

  • Furniture purchases

  • Photography preparation

Clients are solely responsible for deciding whether to undertake these works and for selecting any third-party providers.

5. Third-Party Contractors

From time to time, we may recommend cleaners, painters, organisers, photographers or other service providers.

These recommendations are provided for convenience only.

Iki Spaces is not responsible for:

  • The quality of their work

  • Their pricing

  • Their availability

  • Delays

  • Damage

  • Contracts entered into between the client and third parties

Any agreement with a third-party contractor is entirely separate from Iki Spaces.

6. Styling and Sourcing Services

Where styling or sourcing services are provided, recommendations are based on information available at the time.

Product availability, pricing, lead times and stock levels may change without notice.

Iki Spaces cannot guarantee availability of specific products after recommendations have been provided.

Final purchasing decisions remain the responsibility of the client.

7. Photography and Portfolio Use

Property photographs may be taken for project documentation, reports and recommendations.

Iki Spaces will not publicly share identifiable client information without permission.

Where photographs are used for marketing, social media, portfolio or promotional purposes, permission will be obtained from the client beforehand.

8. Payments

Payment terms will be agreed before work begins.

Consultation fees are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Additional services, styling support or sourcing services may be quoted separately.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments cancelled with at least 48 hours notice may be rescheduled without charge.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Iki Spaces reserves the right to reschedule appointments in the event of illness, emergency or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

Iki Spaces shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from:

  • Property sales outcomes

  • Rental outcomes

  • Market conditions

  • Implementation or non-implementation of recommendations

  • Third-party contractor performance

  • Product availability

  • Client purchasing decisions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service provided.

11. Intellectual Property

All reports, recommendations, checklists, documents, photographs, content and materials created by Iki Spaces remain the intellectual property of Iki Spaces unless otherwise agreed in writing.

They may not be copied, distributed or reproduced without permission.

12. Changes to These Terms

Iki Spaces reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will be published on this website.
